After hearing hype about Dexter for a while from many, I am finally beginning to watch it.  There is something very addicting to the show and I can’t quite figure out what it is yet.  Possibly it is that all of us are like Dexter in some way. Empty.  I am sure there is a lot of clever theology I could draw out of the show but for now I am just enjoying it as a guilty pleasure.  I am only on season one so far but last night alone I must confess, I watched five episodes of the show.   Maybe at some point I will write more on the deeper questions it poses for all of us to think about.
